Heat skillet with a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter.
Add one package Save the Season frozen apples and let thaw on low heat. Once the apples thaw, this will create some liquid in your pan. Add spices of your choosing; I like ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg (a total amount of 1 tsp for spices is ample). You may also add a tablespoon of honey or sugar if you want a sweeter topping.
Let this mixture cook down until most of the liquid has evaporated and this will also be the point where the apples should be soft but not mushy. Eat immediately or store in the refrigerator and use as needed.
